The Big Fix!

We are delighted to betaking part in The Big Fix 2023!

Bring your broken items and help us fix as many items as possible

​

Running throughout the whole of May, The BIG FIX has one aim – to fix and breathe new life into as many broken things as possible.

The event, coordinated by Recycle Devon, sees skilled menders fix broken items such as electronics, garden equipment, clothing, bikes and much more to give them a new lease of life and save items from ending up in landfill.

Due to its huge success, The BIG FIX event is now nationwide across the British Isles for the third time, with 51 Repair Cafés from Wales, Scotland, N. Ireland and England already registered to take part.

This month, our Kingsbridge Repair Café will be offering all the usual repairs like small electrical items, household and clothing repairs PLUS bike maintenance, tool sharpening, upcycling workshops and some junk modelling for little ones!

As always, our Repair Café is a non-commercial event - there are no promises or guarantees, but repairers will give their best efforts to save your items for you. 

​

We are a not-for-profit community project and our Repair Café is powered by volunteers generously giving their time and skills. Donations towards the running of the events are welcome but not necessary.
